Manon Mirgaux : new research fellow
Development of dual IDO/TDO inhibitors and their testing in new hepatocellular carcinoma models of immunotherapy
This project aims at further exploring tryptophan dioxygenase as a relevant drug target for cancer therapy.
Manon MIRGAUX will develop medicinal chemistry efforts under the supervision of both J. Wouters (UNamur) and R. Frédérick (UCL) to design dual IDO/TDO inhibitors.
She will also collaborate with the group of B.Van den Eynde (UCL) to test the activity of the dual inhibitors first in in vitro cellular assays. Dual inhibitors will be compared to available IDO and TDO inhibitors in these models, to establish the benefit of dual inhibition.
